Object to 350 new homes being built on Hounds Hill – the highest point in Coventry
We the undersigned petition the Council to register our objections to the following planning application PL/2025/0001302/OUTM — a proposal for 350 houses on one of Coventry’s most treasured greenfield sites. This land connects ancient woodlands, supports protected wildlife like skylarks and badgers, and contains a designated strategic viewpoint — the highest in the city — offering some of Coventry’s finest countryside views, which would be completely lost.
The proposed development would further increase flood risk in the area, put crippling pressure on already overstretched roads, schools and local infrastructure, and permanently destroy one of the most biodiverse and beautiful landscapes in the region.

The Queen has been a constant in all our lives for as long as we can remember. She selflessly served her country and provided our country and the commonwealth with a figurehead and a true role model. A true role model to us all, who reigned for and unprecedented 70 years.
Our profound condolences go to King Charles III, and the Queen Elizabeth’s family at this sad time.
God Save the King.
