Save the Greenbelt

Object to 350 new homes being built on Hounds Hill – the highest point in Coventry
We the undersigned petition the Council to register our objections to the following planning application PL/2025/0001302/OUTM — a proposal for 350 houses on one of Coventry’s most treasured greenfield sites. This land connects ancient woodlands, supports protected wildlife like skylarks and badgers, and contains a designated strategic viewpoint — the highest in the city — offering some of Coventry’s finest countryside views, which would be completely lost.
The proposed development would further increase flood risk in the area, put crippling pressure on already overstretched roads, schools and local infrastructure, and permanently destroy one of the most biodiverse and beautiful landscapes in the region.
